'PROBEN aka Chicken PROVEN is a popular street food from Cagayan de Oro and other cities in the Southern part of the Philippines and now Chiken Proven is invading the street of Cebu City.  Proven is a short term for “PROVENTRICULUS”, a part of the chicken’s stomach. Chicken Proven is cooked by dipping the proven to a batter and deep-fried till crisp. Served in a small paper plate or a bamboo stick.   Each serving cost around ₱20.
